Fair Winds and Following Seas

Yep, th-th-th-th-that’s all folks! This email closes the curtain on the Rudder and Compass.

But why you ask? Well, honestly, because most of you don’t ask, that’s why.

I’m just not feeling it with this genre of writing I’m doing lately. It seems no one cares.

No one cares about leadership, honor, commitment, integrity, etc. If they do care, you’d never know it.

I’m not cut out to be a creator/artist. I need interaction, feedback and two way communication. And I’m not getting that with this, so why keep struggling forward?

It’s been fun, I hope some of the things I’ve written have helped someone. Just one is enough.

So, this wraps this up, in the Navy, a traditional farwell goes “Fair winds and following seas”

That’s my wish for you, friends, smooth sailing, a steady course and a wonderful destination in sight.
