So who else is just about tired of Twitter?
I know I am.
It seems as we get closer and closer to a US election, the rhetoric and the vile hatred continues to ramp up faster and faster.
So what do we do about it?
Well one of the things that we can do is just simply take a break.
My friend Atlas on Twitter wrote about finding the balance of keeping yourself far enough away to create the desire for your content but yet staying close enough to keep your content relevant.
So how do we do that?
I think the balance you're going to find more and more these days is people stepping away from Twitter and other social media platforms, where content can be constrained, misconstrued or just downright eliminated at the whim of anyone in their ‘monitoring’ hierarchie.
More and more content creators are going to find other outlets to make their content relevant, accessible, archivable and easier to digest by their audience.
Well my friends, for me that has been to transition to sub stack as well as my own website chiefchuck.com as we get closer and closer to the Tipping Point to where social media now becomes irrelevant.
I hope that you'll join me on this ride.
I'm going to keep tweaking and making some changes but the biggest thing that we're going to do is make the website more focused on video and audio content and easy to digest emails a few times a week. These will still continue to showcase leadership honor, responsibility, and integrity with a little bit of humor thrown in.
But here's the bottom line, gang. I can't do it without your help. Feedback is important…not to stroke my dopamine… but to give me criticisms on how I can make this better for you. You took the time to hit the Subscribe button, you take the time to either go to my website or open up an email and I want to make it the very best I can for you.
So engage with me and let me know what you'd like to hear about. What are some things you would like to talk about and if you would like to start your own path to content creating, then start journaling, start writing it down then contact me directly and I'll give you that outlet to start getting your content online without a lot of work of setting yourself up with a website or an email service.
Lots of people have done that for me and you might just find that when you start to write and you find your voice, that getting it out there for the masses is a great way to not just share a message but to share a little bit of yourself.
Lead from the front!
