What I did for 6 weeks without Twitter: - Changed morning routine. Did a Spanish lesson a day (@duolingo) and journaled very personal thoughts.
- Focused on reading. A lot. 9 books read in 6 weeks
- Focused on thinking. Clear thoughts.
- Worked a lot. You may have heard about a place called Ukraine
- Recalled that 2 weeks into a shooting war is a bad time to remember to buy bullets
- Slept more
- Didn't exercise more, actually less. Work hours are brutal these days
- Remembered my opinion doesn't change the world
- Remembered no one else's opinions change the world
- Realized not all online 'friends' are friends
- Realized not all real life friends are friends
- Thought about who I am
- Phones are an addiction
- You're not as important as you think you are
- Neither am I
- Death comes for us all
- Some, not soon enough. Some, too soon
- Social media should be fun
- Too bad it isn't most of the time
- Be kind
- Be calm
I'm back. But not like before.
