EDITOR NOTE: Sorry, gang, I hit send on that first one you got yesterday waaaayyy before it was ready. It reads horribly. Let’s call this a redux…
Hey everyone, what a wacky week, huh? I know more about the stock market than I ever wanted to!
Anyhoo, here’s this week’s 5 for Friday, the 5 things I’m reading, following, saying or just curious about.
Obviously, the GameStop wall street run. Wow, I didn’t know much about hedge funds before and probably don’t anything close to what I should know. But here’s a great way that it was explained to me…
I decided to re-read Orwell’s 1984 again. The last time was when I was required to read it before the actual 1984! I probably picked the worst time ever to read it, it’s like reading it as it’s written every day during these goofy times.
Starting a new challenge through Ryan Fellman’s @pathtomanliness group. February’s challenge is to journal every day. Journaling is something I don’t do enough. I’m getting older but my mind still thinks it can hold on to good ideas, thoughts, Tweets and emails when they happen, but alas, later at the keyboard…
Another challenge that I’m going to try is one my pal Chance Lunsford @TheUncommonist has thrown out there. 14/14 challenge. February is 28 days, do alternating days of resistance training and yoga (what my old ass calls stretching). We’ll see, I’m in, though.
Finally, the Dad joke for this week. This one took off and I had to admit, while not couth, it’s still funny. Lighten up. Have a great weekend!
The movie 'Lincoln' grossed $270,000,000 in movie theaters. Which is ironic since historically, Lincoln didn't do well in theaters.Semper Fortis!
