Some weeks are better or worse than other, right?
I haven’t been in the creative swing lately, so bear with me. But as always, I can come up with the 5 things that stuck with me this week.
COVID vaccines. Yeah, another thing I’m ambivalent about. I don’t care if you get one or not. If you’re older than 10 and haven’t realized medicine doesn’t care about your health, they care about making money, than you need more than a vaccine can offer you. I personally won’t get it right now, if ever. No need to fall into the hype.
Again, the list of things I really don’t care about grows the older I get. I tweeted about this earlier this week. I mean, seriously, once you reflect on most things, if it doesn’t have an immediate impact on you and those around you, why waste the energy?
If I had to recommend an underrated Twitter account, it would be Emma @AgarthaEmma She’s a cheeky spirit that has some awesome tweets about history, local spots she’s visited and sprinkles in just enough sass. Check it out.
Spring is almost here. Well, by the calendar. This week saw the beginning of the spring severe weather season. If you live in an area prone to tornadoes or severe thunderstorms, review your safety plans, make sure your emergency supplies are updated and fresh and have a plan for what to do BEFORE bad weather hits.
Finally, Go out and have some fun this weekend. For the love of all that is sane, turn off the computer, log off Twitter and Facebook and Instagram and get outside and remind yourself that there’s a real world out there. Things may or may not be as bad as they seem, but some sun, fresh air and a bird song make it tolerable.
